Senior Front end Web Developer with ASP.NET - Contract

We are a London based creative and web dev company.
We're looking for an experienced and professional Front-end Web Developer with some ASP.NET (C#) to deliver high quality front end solutions and possiblye some back end development/ integration working as part of a team on ecommerce websites.
Required for immediate start: initially a 2 month contract, then possibility of ongoing freelance work.
Responsibilities will include:
•Assitance with architecture, design and hands on implementation of online solutions spanning several websites and integration with back end software.
•Working with internal development teams and 3rd parties for site integration, implementing xml feeds etc
•Troubleshoot and follow through consistently to resolve technical issues
•Assist with testing of existing and new products/ features
•Effective project management of tasks
•Assist with release process
Essential skills
•At least 3yrs Experience of commercial web development and in particular Ecommerce
•Excellent knowledge of ASP.NET (C#), XML, JSon, Javascript (OO)/ Ajax, Semantic X/HTML, CSS.
•Excellent use of JavaScript libraries such as jQuery or YUI and design patterns.
•Ability to write W3C compliant code for accessibility + awareness of basic usability rules/ best practices.
•Thorough knowledge of cross-browser and cross-platform issues.
•Experience of Source control software.
•Experience of maintaining & supporting applications/ code developed by others
•Effective communication (verbal and written)
•Effective project management of tasks
•Technically awareness of software architecture, new technologies etc
•Basic UI design knowledge
Advantageous
•Exposure to Java templating language Freemarker.
•Experience of bug tracking tools.
•Knowledge of image editing software (e.g. Photoshop)
Immediate start
2 Month contract working in central London
Rates: generous, according to experience
