Mid-Weight Digital Designer

We are looking for a highly talented and creative Digital Designer who will work closely with our Product Manager and Front End Engineers to create the aesthetic of the next generation of Musicmetric products for a short term contract for up to 4 weeks starting as soon as possible.
They will be expected to be expert in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign or the equivalent with knowledge of HTML coding and CSS. The ideal candidate will be creative and have high attention to detail and must demonstrate a high level of pixel perfect design, be aware of current trends in digital design yet forward thinking and innovative. They must have web application design experience as well as an understanding of mobile web applications and their limitations.
This role will include working closely with the technical team and help us build client front end applications to visualise and interact with data from the Musicmetric system. The right candidate will show creativity, initiative and have a true passion for designing web products and applications.
* Required experience and skills:
* 2+ Years experience of working in digital with mobile media with a particular focus on data visualisation and web application design
* Expert in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign or the equivalent
* An in depth understanding of web application design and mock ups
* Highly creative and innovative
* Understanding of asset and icon design with emphasis on pixel perfect design
* Excellent skills in typography, layout, colour/texture.
* Knowledge of document structure
* Portfolio of relevant past work
* An understanding of HTML and CSS
* Knowledge of branding would also be beneficial
The designer will be based at our office in the heart of Shoreditch, London near Old Street, Redchurch Street and opposite the iconic Tea Buildings, close to a variety of pubs, bars and fantastic restaurants. The office is an open plan environment, bright and yet we maintain a quiet working culture to ensure a high level of concentration.
