We need the assistance of an experienced PHP developer who has good HTML/CSS experience also. Must be happy with object orientated programming approach. We are looking for someone to help us on an ongoing basis developing features on an existing website for a large company within the leisure sector.
The site is powered by a bespoke CMS which has evolved so applicant must be happy to dive into existing code and adapt/add to. Knowledge of APIs a must as a number of API's are used in the site for various feeds, interaction and of course booking. There would be a constant stream of work and a full briefing on code as is would be given. Knowledge of SVN and code release mentality a must.
Ideally applicant should be UK based, English speaking and have a good understanding of "real world" web development - i.e. "making it work but also enjoyable for the user". Interaction directly with the client would also be required. Please provide CV, examples of code and hourly rates please.
