We're looking for someone with expertise in optimising SQL servers to have a look at our database server for our website and ensure it is setup as optimally as possible.
We envisage that the work will involve an audit of the server and the SQL setup, with a succinct report being provided outlining the work that is deemed necessary as well as making recommendations as to other performance changes that could be made.
The next phase would then be deciding on who is best to implement these changes and how we will maintain the server going forward.
Server Details:
-------------------
Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard
RAM = 24GB
Processor = Intel Xeon E5506 @ 2.13Ghz (2 processors)
64-bit system
SQL Server 2008 R2
--------------------
Our website is supported by two servers, a dedicated web server and this dedicated database server. The site has been developed using .NET and SQL.
We're looking for someone to start on this immediately. The company is based in London, but expects the work to be carried out remotely.
