A London University is seeking a highly experienced web developer to build and develop a front end for a bespoke web based database to be used for the University’s late recruitment helpline. The system will primarily be for back office staff to record and make decisions on applicant data and also requires integration of an externally facing online application form.
Working from our completed specification the successful candidate will need to work part time ‘in house’ (2-3 days per week) closely alongside our ICT dept and project team in order to deliver the system by the beginning of July 2011.
Requirements:
Your technical experience will need to include:
•proven success in development of web based systems using ASP .NET / C#
•An understanding of backend ORACLE databases (desirable)
•CSS2, JavaScript, AJAX, Subversion (or other VCS)
•excellent coding and creative programming skills.
A flexible and self motivated individual, with a strong eye for detail that can achieve pre-defined milestones.
This is a business critical system which requires your full commitment and extensive experience therefore not for the fainthearted.
A good sense of humour would not go amiss either.
We have our tables built and process in place therefore this is a relatively straightforward project but you will need work out some tricky business rules, queries and triggers.
Please note that the successful candidate will need to make an immediate start and will be based at our campus in London so will need to be living relatively local.
We have currently budgeted 30 days for the project and will pay a good hourly rate for the right person.
If you are interested in coming in for a chat with us and finding out more please get in touch.
No agencies please.
