Gamer Dating Limited is looking for a partner. We're a young start-up with a huge amount of potential and with global aspirations. We're looking for our new lead PHP developer to come on board and guide us through the development of our next important stages now we've started hitting four figures of clients.
A list of things that need for your consideration on application:
1.You will hopefully be UK based. We will consider applications from abroad, but as the operation will require personal and face to face contact in order to establish proper working relationships and trust, any applicants abroad will be put second to those in the UK. We are looking to create a long term team with estimations of growth approaching the hundreds of thousands of clients within three years. This is a very strong concept and unique opportunity for a developer to profit handsomely, with a fun team of talented creatives and business minds.
2. Hopefully you'll be available to start asap.
3. We need our Merchant system set-up with at least WorldPay and PayPal. This must be integrated and set-up on a repeated monthly charge. (accounts in place etc already, talk to us for details)
4. We need a random prize draw system we're intending to introduce per 1000 signups, i.e. out of 1000 people, 1 is randomly selected to receive a prize - this needs to be added to the current signup system so users are made aware they are entering on signup.
5. We need a new page made for our new Comic's section which will basically be a dedicated comic only hosted on the site (image files and text only).
6. A roving advertising system on the front page switching between adverts, we have another 5 that need to fade in a pleasing way one to the other and a system needs to be in place for easy switching behind the scenes.
The site is PHP and you should be highly skilled in PHP and it's applications.
There's obviously a lot more that will need to be done over a considerable period of time other than this, general maintenance of the site for one. We're open to discussing both long term and short term with you.
The company was founded on its potential and there is still a nice amount left in the development pot for the lucky candidate, the job should be considered a long term investment from the get go. But we are open to one of two candidates at this stage should a long term partner not come about:
1. a long term partner who will take a percentage of the company with coding skill and vision to take Gamer Dating into the future and continue to work with the artistic and business team to make a profitable and rewarding service for Gamers worldwide.
or
2. a short-term programmer who is interested in implementing the above items for us at a fixed price.
Work can be done remotely once hired.
OUTSOURCING COMPANIES: YOU WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED - END OF.
All candidates based in the UK "physically" will be placed ahead of anyone abroad, but we look forward to all responses. All candidates who believe they are capable and passionate are encouraged to apply.
All the best and good luck,
Jim Palmer
