Freelance Transcriptionists
contact
location Remote
date posted 16/12/2010
I require freelance transcriptions to work from the comfort of their own home assisting with the transcription of digital audio files into set templates. The majority of work is property inventory reports with some survey reports and legal transcription.
Training is provided by successful applicants must have own computer, high speed broadband, email account, microsoft office and outlook and be able to type a minimum of 60wpm.
A few tester files are required before successful candidate is confirmed. These are unpaid but once in correct format pay will be 30p per audio minute increasing to 35p as soon as no checking is required. There is then the potential to earn 45p per audio minute if work is returned the same night as sent (rather than next day). The above works out at between £6-£10.80 an hour dependant on how fast you type and where you are on training scale. Please note that it is impossible to earn the £10 per hour straight away. Practice is required to learn each clients template and what is required of you.
I am looking for highly motivated people who can adapt and take on vaste amounts of information quickly.
Please NOTE this is a freelance position and an application form must be completed and confidentiality agreement before testers can be sent out. The hours you choose to work is up to you it can be a few hours a week or as much as I can send you. No work can be guaranteed but I am constantly expanding.
